TARIFFS 2017 / March 10 2017

IMX’s 2017 Postal Courier & Express Parcel Tariffs will be effective from Monday 27th March 2017.

SMS Retail increases for all services are significantly below industry changes and we have absorbed all exchange rate variables since the BREXIT referendum. IMX has altered actual postal and linehaul charges with the overall averages less than 2% with some decreases in postal rates. Expedited and Courier charges have increased at a slightly higher percentages of between 2.5-5%. All changes subject to country, weight and client’s profiles.

WDS Wholesale tariffs have had a better journey with a number of reductions for postal services. The overall net affect is less than for SMS. Deferred tracked e-commerce and non-postal services have increased inline with SMS changes.

Periodical / Press services we will continue to provide as a customised tariff for clients as per their respective journal’s profiles. Catalogue, DM, transactional and flyer distribution rates will continue to be customised.

IMX in association with the MCA contributes to Industry developments as well as ensuring postal and parcel services remain competitive in the pre- and post BREXIT timelines.

Dover - Calais - Transport and Transit Delays

Delays continue into the second week for all road logistics into Western Europe. Services affected are:-

IMX TARIFFS Q3 2015 Effective 6th July 15 / June 26 2015

IMX’s SMS and WDS Tariffs are changing as from Monday 6th July, 2015. Changes are nominal and average less than 1%. The adjustments take account of RM increases at the end of March 2015 and ancillary charges made by POs. IMX does not add surcharges to its tariffs as IMX’s tariffs include all PO surcharges as well as sorting, postmarking and presentation compliance for domestic and international distribution. Press tariffs, bulk mail and pre-sorted tariffs remain unchanged. Thank you.

December 2013 - Important Notice

We formally advise that the unfortunate and untimely loss of a key director at IMX Italy srl in no way impacts the independent IMX companies operating in the UK, France, Germany or Spain.

The IMX companies in each jurisdiction are wholly independent of each other and the brand names ‘IMX’, Expack, Happy Post, International Mail Express, MSI, IMX Logistics will all continue in their respective markets. There are no commmon directorships and any inter-operability is at arms length on normal commercial terms.

We regret events in Milan and hope the team and the firms clients and suppliers are able to reach a satisfactory resolution.


IMX’s Supply Chain Management and Process Management Solutions in the UK are being considerably up-rated in Q2 2012.

IMX is installing new systems including parallel stock management software supported on the warehouse floor with hand-held scanners. Reporting functions will enable custom reports for clients including stock movement and full audit capability.

Process management is under review with new process systems for production including data management being installed from May 2012.

Review options include Oracle and WASP.

Dutiable Goods NON-EU Destinations / April 13 2012

Dutiable Goods - Non-Printed Matter. Non-EU Destinations.

Customs officials in many non-EU countries have placed greater vigilance on the import of non-printed matter postal parcels. IMX will apply pro forma invoices or C1 Customs declaration forms on parcels as appropriate.

Caution needs to be exercised to some popular destinations including Russia and Turkey. Costs for duty, clearance and return/destruction are high. If you have any concerns please call IMX on 0800 99 99 777 with details of your planned despatch for up to date advice.
