IMX Acquires B&H Worldwide’s Mail Division / June 09 2014
IMX and B&H Worldwide are pleased to announce the successful acquisition by IMX of the Mail Division of B&H Worldwide on 9th June 2014. B&H’s formal notification is below (edited).
Following a recent in depth review of its worldwide activity, B & H Worldwide has taken the regretful decision to withdraw its Mail product from the UK marketplace. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly as we have been operating in this arena in excess of 25 years. This will however enable us to focus more directly on our core service offerings of express and freight management, primarily in the Aviation marketplace.
B&H’s in depth assessment of the current international mail market concluded that the preferred transfer partner most able to offer the exacting standards that have previously been enjoyed by our customers was IMX Limited (www.imx.co.uk).
IMX has been trading in this arena for as long as B&H and both IMX and its Managing Director, Nicholas Street, are well known to B&H through membership of the MCA - the industry association which Nicholas chairs. IMX serves many well-known global brands and has been established for 25 years in the UK and in 1992 expanded its office network into Europe. IMX has access to the same distribution networks as B&H and provides many additional specialised services to its diversified client base.
B&H have reached an agreement with IMX to transfer our existing mail business & mail personnel to the IMX facility in South West London. This move will mean that the services provided and the staff currently handling your traffic will remain constant as will the rate structures for 2014.
One of the key factors in reaching the decision to engage with IMX was the requirement that the loyal customers of B&H have an alternative supplier that would meet the previously experienced high levels of service. The Global Management Team and the B&H mail division personnel have met extensively with IMX and we have every confidence your needs will be well served in supporting this move.
Frank Herschell, our Mail Operations Manager will be transferring to IMX along with his team.
On behalf of the directors and staff at B&H, thank you for your support over the years, we have no doubt you will be well served by IMX in the future.
IMX Tariffs 2014 / February 11 2014
IMX’s 2014 SMS and WDS (Wholesale) tariffs are now available in Excel or PDF formats.
2014 Mailing Tariffs have seen both rises (95), reductions (21) and no changes (76) to European Airmail, with a similar patterns across regions and services.
UK Domestic Mail services remain unchanged until April.
Small package and parcel services are now supplemented with new e-commerce options with considerably reduced tariffs for tracked items (volume driven).
European tracked Parcel services have seen slight increases. IMX has not been charging fuel and other surcharges and though there is some selective FSS charges in 2014, IMX’s policy is to not pass on FSS charges where possible.
Courier tariffs have not changed for some 5 years or more and therefore some adjustments have been made and FSS is applicable on most routes.
WDS (Wholesale) tariffs are open to all clients with volume. Please ask for details.
Collection charges have been reduced outside London and within London a set rate of £5 or £5.50 is available for all orders up to 50kgs (and for higher weights where capacity permits on IMX’s vehicles).

IMX ITALY srl / December 05 2013
December 2013 - Important Notice
We formally advise that the unfortunate and untimely loss of a key director at IMX Italy srl in no way impacts the independent IMX companies operating in the UK, France, Germany or Spain.
The IMX companies in each jurisdiction are wholly independent of each other and the brand names ‘IMX’, Expack, Happy Post, International Mail Express, MSI, IMX Logistics will all continue in their respective markets. There are no commmon directorships and any inter-operability is at arms length on normal commercial terms.
We regret events in Milan and hope the team and the firms clients and suppliers are able to reach a satisfactory resolution.
IMX Corporate PayPal Account / June 04 2013
IMX in association with PayPal has enabled clients and customers of IMX to pay through their PayPal account. There is a PayPal link button on every IMX web page - above the world clocks - which link directly to IMXs corporate PayPal account.
If you do not have a PayPal account you can still click on the PayPal link and sign up there and then - very straightforward.
IMX will look to enhance the template to enable listing individual invoices and notes to accompany the payment, though at this stage the format whilst allowing for payments of any value no additional information can be keyed with the payment.
SERVICE REPORT - RUSSIA / April 22 2013
Russia Post has advised of a continuing backlog of mail
- in particular packets and parcels. Reports vary as to the extent of the backlog though they are believed to be significant.
Russia Post has selectively placed an embargo on mail imports though private courier and alternate delivery options remain serviceable albeit with their own delays due to higher than normal volumes.
We have indications the mail embargo will be lifted by the end of April, though we advise clients to expect continuing delays for the foreseeable future.
For time sensitive / urgent consignments we recommend these be shipped by courier (contact IMX for details - Tel 0800 99 99 777).
Apologies for the inconvenience
IMX TARIFFS Q2 2013 / March 15 2013
In line with Royal Mail rate changes as from the 2nd April 2013, IMX is issuing Quarter 2 tariffs to reflect the main Royal Mail changes - domestic UK packets/small parcels.
The impact of the RM changes is offset in a number of areas through alternate supply chains and through discounted options for pre-sorted packets/small parcels. Heavier 1st class packets / small parcels benefit from a slightly reduced cost.
Certain packet/small parcel profiles will also benefit from a tracked option at no extra cost.
International mail tariffs for the most part remain unchanged from the Q1 tariffs.
The continuing weakness of the GBP against a basket of currencies, in particular, the Euro and USD has placed additional pressures on postage and transport costs however we continue to absorb these costs.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS MANAGEMENT / April 13 2012

Review options include Oracle and WASP.
