SERVICE REPORT - RUSSIA / April 22 2013

  Russia Post has advised of a continuing backlog of mail
- in particular packets and parcels. Reports vary as to the extent of the backlog though they are believed to be significant.

Russia Post has selectively placed an embargo on mail imports though private courier and alternate delivery options remain serviceable albeit with their own delays due to higher than normal volumes.

We have indications the mail embargo will be lifted by the end of April, though we advise clients to expect continuing delays for the foreseeable future.

IMX TARIFFS Q2 2013 / March 15 2013

In line with Royal Mail rate changes as from the 2nd April 2013, IMX is issuing Quarter 2 tariffs to reflect the main Royal Mail changes - domestic UK packets/small parcels.

The impact of the RM changes is offset in a number of areas through alternate supply chains and through discounted options for pre-sorted packets/small parcels. Heavier 1st class packets / small parcels benefit from a slightly reduced cost.

Certain packet/small parcel profiles will also benefit from a tracked option at no extra cost.

International mail tariffs for the most part remain unchanged from the Q1 tariffs.

The continuing weakness of the GBP against a basket of currencies, in particular, the Euro and USD has placed additional pressures on postage and transport costs however we continue to absorb these costs.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS MANAGEMENT / April 13 2012

IMX’s Supply Chain Management and Process Management Solutions in the UK are being considerably up-rated in Q2 2012.

IMX is installing new systems including parallel stock management software supported on the warehouse floor with hand-held scanners. Reporting functions will enable custom reports for clients including stock movement and full audit capability.

Process management is under review with new process systems for production including data management being installed from May 2012.

Review options include Oracle and WASP.

Dutiable Goods NON-EU Destinations / April 13 2012

Dutiable Goods - Non-Printed Matter. Non-EU Destinations.

Customs officials in many non-EU countries have placed greater vigilance on the import of non-printed matter postal parcels. IMX will apply pro forma invoices or C1 Customs declaration forms on parcels as appropriate.

Caution needs to be exercised to some popular destinations including Russia and Turkey. Costs for duty, clearance and return/destruction are high. If you have any concerns please call IMX on 0800 99 99 777 with details of your planned despatch for up to date advice.

IMX - New Operations Centre Now Open / August 20 2011

IMX has opened a new operational centre in Chessington.

The new centre provides storage and retrieval of branded products for its mail order, loyalty programme, web store and agency clients.

The facility houses in excess of 500 products and distributes throughout the UK, Continental Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and Australasia.

INTEL NSPCC Sponsored Golf Day / August 20 2011

July 27th - Swindon

IMX sponsored lucky Hole 13 at Broome Manor Golf Course in Swindon for INTELs annual charity golf day in aid of the NSPCC.

IMX was represented by Nicholas STREET and James DEARMAN. IMX was active in the evenings raffle sponsoring Dave at Mosaique for a bungee jump - Dave is not good with heights! IMX also bid and won an Apple TV.

Nicholas won a Sony SP for the longest putt - 34 ft 7 inches!

VAT Changes / January 31 2011
